Book buyback update

Book buyback continues at your BMC Bookshop now through May 29.  Buyback is available whenenver the store is open; please check our homepage for hours.

Bring books you no longer need to the bookshop for immediate cash!  No receipt necessary, no appointment necessary.  You can sell books from this semester and previous semesters too, and you can sell books that you purchased elsewere.

Look up buyback prices for most current year titles at bookshop.brynmawr.edu/buyback/lookup.  In addition to titles listed here, we are also working with MBS, a division of Barnes & Noble College Stores. to purchase an additional 50,000 titles that they need.  So even if there's no price in the lookup tool, you may still be able to sell your book here.  For books with no price in the system, we can take care of recycling for you.

For remote students, you are welcome to ship your books to us for buyback.  Ship your books to:

Books must arrive here no later than Friday, May 28 -- we will not be able to pay you for books received after this date.  You are resposible for shipping costs.  Payment will be in the form of a BMC Bookshop electronic gift card, emailed to you as soon as your books are processed.  As a (partial) offset for ship charges, you'll get an extra 10% on your gift card, so for a book listed at $20, you'll get $22.  In addition, if your total buyback transaction is for $40 or more (before the 10% bonus), we'll add a $5.00 bonus to your total.  For example, if your books price out to $60, you'll get a total of $71 -- 10% extra plus $5.00 bonus.  Gift cards can be used to purchase anything that we sell, and may be used in store or online.  Gift cards cannot be turned in for cash.
