Lanterns

One thing we have learned from the many conversations we've enjoyed with Mawrters, is just how many fond memories their lantern brings back. We've also learned that as life goes on sometimes lanterns get packed away and become lost or damaged during moves.  With that in mind, we have arranged with Traditions to offer any lanterns that remain at the end of each Lantern Night in The Bookshop.

Are you thinking about replacing yours?  Recall your own memories… your lantern magically appearing behind you as the light of knowledge was passed to you, or maybe a year or two later you perfected the art of lighting a candle in dark with the wind challenging you to get it in a lantern before it blew out, or maybe you were a runner trying to safely jog with fire.  Just like your original lantern, your new lantern participated in Lantern Night and now holds its own memories of being run or lit by one of your newer sisters.  Although it was not ultimately passed on yet, it may show signs of the excitement of the night or the enthusiasm with which it was swung.  If you choose to give one of these lanterns a new home, we wish you many opportunities to create new memories with it.  Anassa Kata!
